Features
This particular gearbox has been studied to take emergency measures on valves controlled by a rotary pneumatic actuator whenever it breaks down or a supply failure (compressed air or any other fluid) takes place. The device is mounted between valve and pneumatic actuator.
When disengaged, the device will work as a driving joint. When it is engaged, it will allow to take an emergency measure, rotating the actuator shaft and, consequently, the valve shaft. Furthermore it will always allow a manual cycle of the valve, if the pneumatic actuator has to be removed for repairing or replacement.
